If you ever wondered what could possibly top Oscar winning director Kathryn Bigelow's suspense filled bomb disposal masterpiece The Hurt Locker well just listen to the plot behind her next film the Triple Frontier.
The movie is being pegged as an action-adventure flick that will bring the same gritty and tense shooting style of The Hurt Locker to Triple Frontier. What's even better is it is expected to have an ensemble cast and an Argentinian newspaper (via Playlist) is reporting that that cast could inlcude Sean Penn, Javier Bardem and Denzel Washington. The article is belived to be taking some liberties with a NY Times article that said the three actors had spoken to screenwriter Mark Boal about future projects but still the possibility of anyone of these three let alone all of them starring in the film is great. I really want to see Javier Bardem in another role like No Country for Old Men.
The film is still in heavy pre-production with the bi-lingual script still being worked on. The film will hopefully go infront of the camers sometime next year and it sounds like Bigelow may have found the story to top The Hurt Locker.
