Check out the debut of the new Iron Man 2 poster which gives us another look at Mickey Rourke as the villain Whiplash. The poster lets us see Whiplashes weapons which remind me of the beam from the Ghostbusters weapons. They also look rather formidable and Whiplash looks like he'll be a handful for Iron Man.

Whiplash also seems to be a little bit obsessed with Tony Stark and Iron Man with all the articles on the wall. I'm not sure about the story but quite possibly Justin Hammer, a rival businessman, supplies Whiplash with the armour and weapons so Whiplash can assassinate Stark/Iron Man. It'll be interesting to see whether this obsession is part of the movie or just used in the poster to show that Rourke is the villain to Stark.

The movie opens May 7 2010 and has an all star cast including Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Jon Favreau, Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Garry Shandling, John Slattery, Kate Mara, Clark Gregg and Olivia Munn.
