Latino Review have quite possibly the best rumor I've heard in a while. It's only a small article  but it certainly sounds cool and if the source is good then the outcome seems probable. Latino Review writer El Mayimbe reports that he got a tip from a source that Harrison Ford was going to be joining a huge comic book movie that has a director who has just finished directing a comic book movie.

The film that looks most promising is Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens. Favreau is coming off Iron Man 2, certainly a huge comic book movie, and Cowboys and Aliens is shaping up to be pretty big. Favreau has also just Tweeted "Some very cool Cowboys & Aliens casting news coming soon..." 


So Mayimbe believes that Harrison Ford, the love of some many fanboys lives, may be joining Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens. Seriously I would love for this to happen. Favreaus already has Daniel Craig onboard to play Zeke Johnson, the leader of a group of gunslingers who must team up with the Native Americans to beat a common foe, invading aliens. Cowboys and Indians battling Aliens, that has the potential to be all kinds of awesome.


I haven't read the comic so I'm not sure who Ford might play but the idea of Ford in a comic book movie certainly sits well with me. Let's just hope this gets confirmed soon and Favreau wasn't talking about someone else joining the film.
